The Gandhi-King Community

For Global Peace with Social Justice in a Sustainable Environment

I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the Gandhi-King Community.

I’ve always been interested in a plethora of subjects which I strive to keep well informed on in order to better my knowledge of the world, past and present. I am an analytical person who mulls over the tiniest of details, incorporating what I know from a wide variety of topics, using basic reasoning and logic to come to a conclusion.

I enjoy learning for the sake of learning. I think a lot (it’s a gift & a curse). I enjoy sharing what I know with others and listening to what others know in order to learn more, and thus share more later. I'm good for bouncing ideas off of: I'll let you know what I think without holding back while attempting to remain tactful because that's what I would want someone else to do for me.

I’m not sure as to what the initiating factor was, but I’ve had an interest in social justice issues for as long as I can remember. Although I am a genealogist now, I got my degree in criminal justice.

My method of combating injustice is simple: words. The pen is mightier than the sword, and since I am a pacifist (and only 5' 2"), the pen was the only logical choice.

I am thankful for the invitation to the Gandhi-King Community and I am hopeful I can be of service.

Some of my Interests: genealogy, genetics, theoretical physics, history, etymology, archaeology, sociology, cultures, customs, the arts, language, psychology, logic, philosophy, medicine, law, government, criminal justice (& justice in general), politics, religion, civil rights, the media, education, learning, spreading knowledge, solutions, truths, economics, statistics, quotations, almost every “-ism” you can think of, books, books and more books.

“The art of progress is to preserve order amid change and to preserve change amid order.”
