Thank you for inviting me to the community. We do have good contacts with the Gandhian Community and institutions in India, and will be happy to assist you. The Dalit communities in India, as you might already know, is another section which holds MLK's legacy and the African American experience in high esteem. Prominent Dalit groups are quite critical of Mahatma Gandhi's approach to thier issues, though.

I look forward to meeting you and working with you in August.
