Why are you interested in the Gandhi-King Community?: The founding principles of a "non-violence" approach to social protest and agitation have continued to inspire me throughout my adult life. It's a consistent evolution and perspective on life that embodies and reconciles constructs such as individual identity/community/society, social/economic, spiritual/poltical; things that are not independent of one another. Instead the profound nature at the heart of the non-violent movement has only grown in my perception as the most profound choice I can make in my own spiritual journey and as an action for justice in the world.
