Why are you interested in the Gandhi-King Community?
I am just an ordinary person and citizen of the world, working to promote justice and peace for all on earth.

I often wonder why peace on earth seems to be such an impossible and improbable proposition.

After Jesus and Buddha, Gandhi and King have been our modern day prophets of justice and peace. They have set examples for us the only problem being they set a bar too high for the ordinary human being.

But how difficult is it to see our fellow humans as equals, equal in the eyes of God or nature/universe, the laws of physics and the law of the land.

Extremely difficult it appears.

It seems people have a hard time giving up the desire to want to be right, to persuade others of our rightness and even agreeing to disagree in peace to include another possibility or opinion or method. We seem to suffer from the "my solution only disorder syndrome". Granted we may dislike certain people for certain reasons but can't we leave such people alone - there are 6.5 billion people on the planet to find common ground and at least 200 other people to connect with; 200 being the number of people that for one person's network at a particular time according to research/experts.
