Thank you, Lord God, for the memory of Viola Liuzzo. The movement wasn't just for blacks to gain equal rights, but it was to bring blacks and whites together. Viola Liuzzo came from the north to the south to help. While helping to give a ride to a young black man going on, she was killed by some "sick white brothers".
"Blessed are those who are persecuted for righeousness' sake!"
