For Global Peace with Social Justice in a Sustainable Environment
Hello, friends. Last night I saw a 2008 documentary titled "The End of Poverty?" It was nominated for some awards at the Sundance Film Festival, and is narrated by Martin Sheen. The film lays out the historical (and economic) case for the long lasting effect of colonialism on poor nations in the global south. It is worth seeing.
I am, increasingly, against globalization. What I liked about this movie was how comprehensive it was: the story starts in 1492 and ends with the IMF, the World Bank, and the WTO.
God bless you all. Have a wonderful day!
