Using 'Twitter' to Mobilize a Demo

Here's an interesting article from The Democratic Strategist on using 'Twitter' to organize a nonviolent "flash mob" protest:

I agree. New media tools offer enormous potential for creative organizers, "flash mobs" being just one example. What Clay has done with this web page is another. I think the "killer ap" has to be using internet, email and on-line affinity groups to mobilize global boycotts, perhaps the most powerful of nonviolent tactics.

What an interesting article. The nature of political organizing and networking is changing so fast. There is so much potential for sites such as this one. This article about twitter got me thinking about the ways in which the Gandhi-King community and other international online communities like it can be used to not only share information but organize people across the world. What are your thoughts? Thank you for sharing this article!
