Sometimes there comes a crack- John Brown

This poem is written by John Brown. This poem was said by Mahatma Gandhi during Round Table Conference. It is related to Satyagraha. The complete poem is here-

Sometimes there comes a crack

In time itself,

Sometimes the earth is torn by

Something blind,

Sometimes an image that had

Stood so long,

It seems implanted as the polar

Star

Is moved against an unfathomed

Force

That suddenly will not have it

Any more,

Call it the more, Call it God or

Fate,

Call it man soul or economic law

That force exists and moves.

And when it moves,

It will employ a hand and actual

Stone

To better into bits and actual

Wall

And change the actual scheme

Of things.
