gaps in achievement...

what an idea. what a concept. what is it though?

Well, there are many definitions where 'experts' in their 'expert-isms' will carefully define what it is they are referring to when commenting on 'gaps in achievement'.

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....I say, ummmmmmmm (my face frowns, eyes squint, my finger carefully rests between my two brows).... I say to myself......"Nope. These folks 'experts' are not absolutely wrong, but they are off base, there are missing components."

Let us consider this concept of 'gaps in achievement' carefully and collectively.

1. race is at the core, which translates into very problematic (race cannot be undone)

2. economics layers just above race, translation----capitalism stimulates the dumbing down of intellect (problematic)

3. demographics layers directly above race, translation----all you need to do is move (okay, easy enough to do, but not really, but let's just say it is for ease of thought)

4. values layers directly above demographics, translation----if you seem to have a value system which allows you to behave in ways that fringes disruption, you must change, preferably immediately (values may be rooted in demographics and culture)

Note: culture IS NOT race. culture IS NOT land.
(if you watch lots of television; see all the 'good' independent films and movies; read lots of happy-gossip magazines; eat at trendy places with trendy people; read lots of trendy books "Oprah"suggestions "NYT's bestseller" book lists; travel to all the happening places, and to the 'nice' things while there. If you lend yourself to these forms of life and entertainment, then you MAY develop a desired value system..... not disruptive).
Note: culture is NOT race. culture is NOT land.

----2b continued----

Why is the gap reported mostly if not only the public arena of education..........????

If you happen to read this blog please take a moment or a few minutes to respond, I am quite interested in what your line of thought.

This final month of 2008 is upon us.... and may humanity resonate at the core of life's truth.
smiles (always)
