For Global Peace with Social Justice in a Sustainable Environment

In email correspondence with historian Taylor Branch, I learned something I hadn't known about the 1963 March on Washington. As is well known, the "Dream" segment of Dr. King's speech was not part of his original written draft. When moved off his written text to speak of his dream, he omitted a portion of what he had originally intended to say. One of the things he omitted was a call for people to become part of an, "International Association for the Advancement of Creative Dissatisfaction."

Obviously he wasn't proposing formation of an actual new organization, but putting forward a concept of global nonviolent action. What a great way of phrasing nonviolent resistance, "Creative Dissatisfaction." I imagine he must have used that terminology elsewhere, I'm sure Clay can call it out, but for me it's new.
