- Why are you interested in the Gandhi-King Community?
- I have been the director of Teacher Education for the past 15 years at an independent college in San Francisco< CA. I have recently founded, with other educators, social activists and journalists, a new educational organization called "The Center for Critical Environmental and Global Literacy." Our vision is to bring together educators, youth and community, both locally and globally, to explore and engage with critical issues in education, literacy development and cultural and environmental sustainability in order to broaden the educational conversation and options and to further participatory democracy.
