Why are you interested in the Gandhi-King Community?: Activist; Independent Documentary Filmmaker; Convener, Working Group on Alternative Strategies - (1992); Convener, Jan Prasar -Electronic Media Activist Group(1994); Executive Director and Editor CFTV (Citizens First TV) NEWS based in New Delhi, India.
Documentary Film: 30 Janvari - Jagaran aur Gavahi (30 January- Vigil and Witness) DVD, 40 mins., 1991, Hindi, Subtitles in English; Film on the significance of Gandhi's Martyrdom.
Launched programme ' Taking Children to Gandhi' (TCTG) for school
children in DELHI NATIONAL CAPTAL REGION (NCR) in April 2008.
Under TCTG interactive programmes are organised throughout the year jointly with Gandhi Peace Foundation, India International Centre and Working Group on Alternative Strategies.
Engaged in development of Gandhi-King Memorial Plaza, New Delhi as
a Heritage Site. The Plaza was dedicated to the Nation by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on 21 January 1970. A "shared public space” created to commemorate 20th century’s two great icons of the struggle for non-violent social change during the Gandhi Centenary Year through the joint efforts of Ford Foundation, India International Centre and Government of India.
