Why are you interested in the Gandhi-King Community?: We respect the work of Clay Carson and his significant contribution to humanity from his dedicated efforts to teach and develop nonviolence, and to educate about the principles, events and key practitioners of nonviolence.

We expect to meet serious nonviolence practitioners within the Gandhi-King Community

Organizations related to Gandhi/King: Director of the Institute for Community Leadership, a non-governmental organization that connects individuals to their own values and voice, and arouses, educates and inspires one another to create peace, construct community and strengthen democracy.

Director, Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Center, Oakland, CA., an organization assisting students and adults in the study of nonviolence as a philosophy and way-of-life, and assisting in utilizing nonviolence in active engagement to confront racism, consumerism and violence and to participate in the creation of the Beloved Community.

Director, Jack Hunter O'Dell Education Center, a 20 acre campus dedicated to the study and practice of nonviolence and Democracy Education. Center located between Seattle and Tacoma, Washington.
