Why are you interested in the Gandhi-King Community?
Hello everyone!

My name is Naima Green and I am a first year Master in Public Policy candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School.

Here's my bio:

Naima is an MPP first year student and a fellow at the Belfer Center of Science and International Affairs. She is also a Pickering Fellow with the US Department of State, meaning that after completing her Master's degree, she will become a Foreign Service Officer. Naima is interested in cultural diplomacy, international exchange, human rights policy, and public diplomacy. She grew up in Cairo, Egypt, and hopes to spend much of her Foreign Service career working in Washington DC, Africa, and the Middle East.

Naima is committed to engaging youth, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, in the domestic and foreign policy arenas. She has created a number of arts-based educational exchange programs connecting students in middle and high-schools on different continents. In the past, she has worked at the U.S. Department of State, Stanford Lively Arts, Committee on Black Performing Arts at Stanford University, and the African Hope Learning Center for Displaced Children in Cairo, Egypt. At Harvard, she is the Associate Vice Chair for Black Policy Conference 2009 and Vice Chair for Black Policy Conference 2010. She speaks Arabic and Zulu, and she received her BA in International Relations from Stanford University.
