- Why are you interested in the Gandhi-King Community?
- I seem to be the only experienced nonviolent activist in the US who pleads with those who do resistance to stand against suppression of Gandhi and King's advocacy of avoiding the seeking of mercy from judges who pass sentence on acts of civil disobedience. Hopefully I am wrong and other advocates of this approach will come forward. Pleading "not guilty" is a form of seeking mercy.
