- Why are you interested in the Gandhi-King Community?
- I am currently a student at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. I am a Communication Studies major. The message and lives of Dr. King and Gandhi have inspired me to take further steps to live my life in obedience to God's eternal laws of Love, Justice, and Righteousness. As an American I am familiar with the message of Dr. King, but this on-line community has given me access to the work of Gandhi, who was a pioneer of non-violent resistance and a tremendous influence on Reverend King. It is great to be part of a tangible community of peace-lovers and non-violent actvists who share the dream of these two great men.
