For Global Peace with Social Justice in a Sustainable Environment
this book tries to answer important questions raised by the social movements of the 20th century and challenges brought about by the massive changes due to globalisation in the 21st century. At a juncture, when the secular fabric of our country is threatened due to xenophobia, women's predicament will be deplorable unless both, the state and the civil society take affirmative action to safeguard women's interest. This book makes humble effort to provide direction in this line. It tries to contextualise women's survival struggles in the political economy perspective and offers worldview and analytical vision for engendering each and every area of human existence.
