I am a gandhian scholor. Beliving on the phelosphy of Mahatma Gandhi. I think, every activity, which he had done, are act for justice. I think, it is a special type of group, which wil complete their responsbiliy in a manner of truth.

"Act for Justice" wishes everyone a Happy MLK Weekend!  The group was involved in the commemorative celebration at Michigan State University, performing a Speech Choir at our Museum highlighting an exhibit titled "Evolutionary Artifacts" that addresses cultural heritage and self narrative.  We also sponsored a High School Case Competition at our university's Student Leadership Conference, where local youth presented about people or groups they believed exemplified the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his commitment to social justice.

"Act for Justice" has had a great year! We performed a speech choir on MLK Day in the University's Museum, sharing quotations from MLK's "I Have a Dream" and "I Have Been to the Mountaintop," Langston Hughes' "Dream Deferred" and "Let American be America," and Barack Obama's election acceptance speech. AFJ also won the 2009 Multicultural Heroes Hall of Fame Case Competition.

I hope you are well, I would be interested to find out more about your work, I am a actor based in Birmingham, England. I also do workshops and school work, I have recently finished doing a tribute to Martin Luther King in a school for children with learning difficulities, they put on a great piece to pay tribiute to Martin Luther King, the performance included pieces from Rosa Parks bus boycott, lunch counter sit in & parts from the "I have a dream" speech, I wish you all the best in your work.

AFJ will be debuting Wednesday, October 22, 2008 on MSU's campus. We will be presenting dialogue-starters on white privilege for the MLK: Equality and Justice Traveling Chautauqua. The President of the University will be in attendance.
