GLOBAL PEACE & JUSTICE CONGRESS

The Global Peace and Juatice Congress is an initiative to establish an international voice for non-violence, peace and social justice issues.

The Congress is open to all individuals who desire to work for peace, reconciliation and social justice in all cultures and societies.

We have chosen ro establish this Congress within the Gandhi-King Community because of the common interests of the membership here and the spirit and desire we all share.

The purpose of this Congress will be to promote peacemaking and social justice through non-violent means.

THE LEADERSHIP

Elections for the following offices will be held on May 1, 2016. Those desiring to seek office in the Congress should contact me personally at:Revchaddunn@gmail.comThe following offices are open to candidates. All candidates must file a statement declaring their candidacy. The deadline for states of declaration are to be submittes no later than December 1, 2015. All candidates must be at least 18 years of age and must submit a short bio and contact information to be registered as a candidate.A Constitutional Committee will assemble on August 10-12, 2015 to draft and ratify the Constitution of the Global Peace and Justice Congress.OFFICES: President, Deputy President, Secretary of the Congress, Treasurer, Speaker of Delegates.
