Music and Interfaith Readings & Prayers (London)
The Path of Hope is a free public event in London bringing together music, interfaith readings, and prayers in a shared space of reflection, peace, and community.
Open to people of all faiths and none, this welcoming afternoon offers a chance to experience music and readings drawn from diverse spiritual traditions, encouraging dialogue, understanding, and hope in challenging times. Everyone is welcome.

The course is led by Ketan Varia, an experienced instructor who has taught at City Lit, London, for several years. Participants will explore Gandhi’s life and philosophy while evaluating the enduring relevance of his ideas in today’s world. Engaging video presentations and interactive group discussions will invite participants to connect Gandhi’s message to contemporary global issues.

Paul Bazely Lecture on Indian philosophy and Gandhiji

A little about Paul Bazely
- Acclaimed Actor – Worked in stage productions at the National Theatre and London’s West End; appeared in films such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Cruella.

Gandhi Foundation Annual Lecture 2025 available on YouTube
On 22 May 2025 Gandhi Foundation Annual Lecture 2025 was delivered by Professor Krishna Kumar at an event held at Kingsley Hall, Powis Road, Bromley by Bow, London, E3 3HJ
Professor Kumar is an eminent Indian academic, noted for his writings on the sociology and history of education and former Director of the National Council of Educational Research and Training.
For the lecture, Professor Kumar discussed what Gandhi thought about learning and the symbols of ‘progress’.

2024 Annual Lecture available in high quality
For the 2023 Gandhi Foundation Annual Lecture, actor Paul Bazely detailed the process of how he became Gandhi for the role.
The Gandhi Foundation filmed the event on Zoom and presented it as a live stream at the time but sadly the audio was compromised and very difficult to make out.
Paul very kindly re-recorded his presentation as clean audio and has made it available on his Soundcloud channel. It is also available on the Gandhi Foundation website for those who wish to listen back.
