Why are you interested in the Gandhi-King Community?
Gandhiji and King represent the the people of whole world, their ideals not confined either to any physical or imaginary boundary. They taught us to fight injustice not by violence but by peaceful means. They believed in action not tokenism or symbolism ,together both of them shaped the history of mankind in twentieth century.

Thanks for being friends.Indeed as Clayborne Carson says that Obama wouldnt be the President without the groundwork and foundation of both true warriors and martyrs who fought racis, prejudice and domination and marginalisation not with swords, bullets and arms and ammo but with words, idea, protests and non violence to give human dignity ,respect, rule of law, social justice, freedoms ,human rights ,ahimsa to all animals and humans alike through vegetarianism.Hence,Obama has to be honest enough, bold enough to make chnage possible and not to thwart the hopes and aspirations of millions of folks at home abroad.

Thanks for your kind remarks. I certainly agree that Obama would not be president without the sacrifices of King and Gandhi. I look forward to meeting you during my next visit to India.
