Why are you interested in the Gandhi-King Community?
I'm a Stanford student, and I've been lucky enough to both work with and study under Dr. Carson. At the moment I'm abroad for a year on scholarship to study sociology in Italy, with a focus on culture and communication. My interest lies in the tensions and problems that exist in modern Italian society, namely: tension and animosity between Italians and immigrants, and tension, discrimination, and negative stereotypes between norther and southern Italians.
