Why are you interested in the Gandhi-King Community?
To hear more about nonviolence being used successfully to prevent violence and create change. After reading others posts I felt I should add more here. Doing research on interpersonal/domestic violence and using nonviolence as an option instead of violence to prevent the violence.
I am an experienced activist and advocate for women and children in domestically violent situations. A survivor involved with Sister's Overcoming Abusive Relationships(SOAR), I assist in the development of nonviolence outreach programs that address interpersonal violence.
