Why are you interested in the Gandhi-King Community?: For as long as I have been "awake," I have felt a deep connection to the messages of MLK, Jr. I am a college administrator at the Honors College at Michigan State University. I recently completed a dissertation in education on the academic life histories of high achieving first-generation women of color. My work passion is encouraging students from diverse backgrounds to pursue enriched and enriching college programs.
