Dearest Dr. Vibhuti, I'm afraid you must have mistaken me for someone else. I am not involved in setting up anything in Champaran. I have discussed Champaran in our book, (2010) Earth Ethics of M.K. Gandhi with teachings from Holy Mother Amma: an Introduction but am not setting up any formal institutions yet. At this time I am just writing, discussing, and talking about the ethical principles that govern our lives. I live with my son in Holy Mother Amma's ashram at Amritapuri, in Kollam, DT Kerala.
    Kamala is a common name.
    Loving you,
    Aunty Kamala

    Dear Professor Patel,

I'm a British teacher in Turin, Italy, and I recently joined the Gandhi-King community. A few years ago I read an excellent article by you in the India Together bulletin on women and mental illness, including a section on stages in recovery.

For the last 3 years, I've been helping a human rights website HURRARC.org, as an online volunteer for HURRARC,  a human rights campaigning organisation in Sierra Leone, still recovering from civil war. At present I'm in touch with Meha Dixit, an Indian Phd. research student from  Delhi University,  who at the end of this month (Jan) will be visiting Sierra Leone for a month to study the country's tragic history of child soldiers.  She is especially interested in their reintegration into normal life. If you have any suggestions or references, please contact her at mehadixit@gmail.com. From a woman's point of view I don't think the question concerns girl soldiers, but it concerns the girls and women who were often the main target of these child soldiers,

I'm also enclosing a pamphlet I  have written on mental health, which I hope you may find

    in solidarity
