Clayborne Carson's "Passages of Martin Luther King," performed in Beijing

This clip portraying the Montgomery bus boycott is from the National Theatre China's June 2007 production of the international premiere of Clayborne Carson's play "Passages of Martin Luther King," with Cao Li performing the role of Martin and Zhou Ling as Coretta. The play was co-produced by Caitrin McKiernan and directed by Wu Xiaojiang, with Luo Dajun adapting the script. The African-American gospel choir consisted of Kenneth D. Alston, September Penn, and three Stanford students: Re Phillips, Chelsi Butler, and Fred Alexander.
