A Lost Prophet, an Outsider, and an Inspiration: Bayard Rustin's Life as a Nonviolent Activist

Hi there Gandhi-King Community,

My name is Cole Manley and I am a sophomore at Stanford University in the United States studying with Professor Clay Carson.

For a class on "Nonviolent Resistance" with Professor Carson, I created an in-depth blog surveying Bayard Rustin's life related to nonviolent resistance.

I wanted to share with all the blog, at the following link: http://csmanleybrustin.wordpress.com/.

I hope that my blog can help facilitate renewed discussion of Rustin's life, and please do share it with others you think would be interested.

The struggle Rustin waged for peace and justice in the United States is far from over. We need more people to learn how to become nonviolent.

I hope you find the blog interesting, and please leave comments or questions on it for me.

I will be adding to the blog in the future, as well, with videos, pictures, etc.

Thanks,

Cole M.
